Juvenile Detention Ministry
We have the opportunity to serve and share the gospel of Christ at the Juvenile Detention Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Each month this team teaches salvation, repentance, and the importance of Christian growth to incarcerated youth. This gives an opportunity for the youth in the center to receive salvation.
Nursing Home
Our church is committed to sharing the gospel to everyone. We have partnered with Cypress Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bossier City, LA to provide spiritual care and a worship experience monthly for those who reside in their facility. It is a precious blessing to be the vehicle by which the Lord encourages his people in their faith during times of loneliness, trial and loss.
Hospital Ministry
The volunteers that serve in the hospital ministry are committed to ministering the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through personal hospital visits. Our dedicated team brings encouragement, prayer, and the healing power of Jesus Christ to those in need.
Across Faith
We are blessed with the opportunity to be able to partner with churches of North Bossier Parish (St. Jude Catholic Church and Benton United Methodist Church) to unite the Body of Christ across faith lines. The goal of our Across Faith Team is to serve God’s children by providing basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, transportation and advocacy. This team works together to build programs that meet immediate and future needs of the community.
Common Ground
We are blessed with the opportunity to be able to partner with the Common Ground Community in Shreveport, LA. Through this group we are able to spread God’s love, word, and compassion in the Cedar Grove area. This center provides opportunities for educational, spiritual, and personal growth to the community. We encourage pathways of hope for the future with children’s programs, mentoring, hosting community meals, and providing food and clothing.
Lend-A-Hand
Through our annual Lend-A-Hand clothing give-away, we are able to provide new and used school uniforms, backpacks, shoes, jackets, coats etc. for youth in need, at no cost. All of the items are donated from individuals within our church because we have the same heart and mindset of Christ for His people. This event allows us to share the love of Christ to the community and let them know that we care.
Mission (Remember the Poor, Inc.)
We partner with Remember the Poor International (RTPI) to carry out God’s plan for our foreign missions initiative. Our mission is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people in Haiti. Through this partnership we are able to build churches and schools in various areas in Haiti, which enables us to continuously fulfill our mission.
