Veronica E. Stewart - Minister

Veronica Stewart is a native of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, and a graduate of Plain Dealing High School.  She currently resides in Bossier City, Louisiana and is married to Terrence Tyrone Stewart.  They have been blessed with two children (Brittany and Terrence, Jr.). Veronica attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana and during this time she was on the Academic Dean's List and President's List.  She graduated cum laude in 1990 with a B.S. in Health Information Management.

Veronica has been employed at the Overton Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center for the Office of Information and Technology as a Computerized Patient Record Program Analyst.  Currently, Veronica is the Veterans Equitable Resource Allocation (VERA) Coordinator in the Executive Office at Overton Brooks.

Veronica and her husband joined the Elizabeth Baptist Church in 1994.  She accepted the call to ministry in 1998.  She was licensed and ordained as a Minister of the gospel in August 2004.  She has served as Sunday school teacher for the middle school and high school classes, youth counselor for Camp Victory and as a Vacation Bible School teacher.  She continues to serve as the Ministry Leader for the Women's Ministry.  She is also an active participant in the adult women's Sunday school class, and a member of the Hospital Ministry team.  She is passionate about intercession and teaching God's word.
