Ivory Youngblood - Minister

Minister Ivory Youngblood began his ministry at Elizabeth Baptist Church in March 2002. Brother Youngblood is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and a graduate of Woodlawn High School. His parents Fred and Essie Youngblood were production worker and homemaker respectively. His father is deceased. He earned a B.S. in Liberal Studies at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His postgraduate studies were received at Friends International Christian University in Merced, California, and its' affiliate center, Greenwood Acres Full Gospel Baptist Church.  Minister Youngblood earned his doctorate in Religious Education in 2007 from Greenwood Acres Christian College in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated in December 2010 from the University of North Texas with a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling.

Minister Youngblood married his high school sweetheart Miss Liza Lee of Shreveport, on July 26, 1980.They have two adult children: Carlos, born September 13, 1976 and Candice, born December 10, 1981. Minister Youngblood served as a minister for six years at Greenwood Acres Full Gospel Baptist Church, where he was licensed to preach by Pastor Fred A. Caldwell, Sr. on February 23, 1997.

At EBC, Minister Youngblood served as a Youth Leader, Member of Men of Vision Praise and Worship team, teacher in the Leadership Institute as well as taught a weekly Foundations Class for all adult church members.
